Doglandia was founded just a few weeks ago by Toni Kerr, a graphic design student who couldn't stay focused on her degree in the face of cute dogs. She grew up in Oregon and has spent an adequate amount of time training horses, dogs, cats, fish, and dragons. The bearded kind. Therefore she is an expert in this area. Toni is happily blending her love of graphic design with her love for dogs and the great outdoors.
Toni started walking dogs locally in and around Eugene, and she quickly gained more and more clients and passed them along to her teenage boys. Many of Toni’s clients started asking if she could do day care and overnight care as well as dog walking, and so the business evolved. Within 2 days of starting Doglandia, Toni employed a full time day care assistant, both of her kids, and started converting an old shed in to a fully equipped dog spa care facility featuring an arena with quarters for grooming, a commercial kitchen for safe food prep, and a large variety training clinics from puppy manners to competitive agility.
And in case you're wondering, yes! We are thrilled to announce that Doglandia has been approved and certified by the American Kennel Club.
